how many keywords are enough?

by:Dajin caster     2020-06-14
Yesterday, I received an email from someone who bought my ebook.
Her question is the question I have been asked several times before: \"How many instances of keywords in a copy are enough?
It\'s like asking, \"How long is a rope ? \"
\"There is no answer.
Proponents of the keyword density formula will soon give a percentage: 4%, 6%, 12%.
However, I would like to know where they got the numbers from.
If you search for any keywords on Google (say [
Cast iron frying pan, for example)
, You will immediately see why the keyword density formula does not add up.
Any version-
Cast iron or cast iron-iron -
Bring the same list on the search engine results page (SERPs).
Please note: I am looking at the source code for each page to include the mention in the tags and pages.
The result of the cast iron frying pan may be different from what I see, as everyone does not view the result from the same database.
But when I enter [
Cast iron frying pan(
No brackets of course)
The first website to appear is the number of words: about 1,611.
[Keyword density]
Cast iron frying pan: 0%.
[Keyword density]cast iron]: 3%.
[Keyword density]frying pan]: < 1%.
Next, ask Yahoo: The total number of words: About 622.
[Keyword density]
Cast iron frying pan: < 1%.
[Keyword density]cast iron]: < 1%.
[Keyword density]frying pan]: < 1%.
Amazon is in the third place.
Com total number of words: about 2,405.
[Keyword density]
Cast iron frying pan: < 1%.
[Keyword density]cast iron]: < 1%.
[Keyword density]frying pan]: < 1%.
Another example is :[
Mexican cruise holidays.
At 1 we see the cruise network, the total number of words: about 488.
[Keyword density]
Mexican cruise holidays: < 1%.
[Keyword density]Mexico cruise]:< 1%.
[Keyword density]Cruise holidays: < 1%. eCruises.
Next is com, whose page is found in the total number of words: about 238.
[Keyword density]
Mexican cruise holidays: < 1%.
[Keyword density]Mexico cruise]: < 1%.
[Keyword density]Cruise holidays: 0%.
It continues.
Yes, you did find some sites with very high keyword density, but this is not a cross-section to get a certain amountthe-
Board keyword density guarantees your success.
In fact, from what I have seen, keyword density has not been an effective measure of SEO copywriting success for many years.
I believe this was the case, but Google and other engines quickly blocked the bug.
Frequency is not at all?
Does this mean that the engine does not consider the frequency of key phrases used in the copy? No.
In fact, Google\'s official blog recently made a series of articles entitled \"The technology behind Google\'s ranking,\" the author said, \"the core technology of our ranking system comes from the academic field of information retrieval (IR).
The IR community research search has been around for nearly 50 years.
It uses statistical signals of word significance, such as word frequency, to rank pages.
\"He went on to say,\" IR gave us a solid foundation on which we built a huge system using links, page structures and many other similar innovations.
\"Other Google Docs mention the need to include key terms in your copy, so it has been determined that keywords in the copy can play an important role.
However, I have not seen evidence to suggest a standard. the-
\"Keyword density\" is working.
Not to mention, it doesn\'t make sense to force the phrase into your page text and make it sound completely stupid.
This does not help your ranking (
Except on some submarines. engines)
, It will almost certainly close your site visitors.
So, go back to the original question: \"How many key phrases are enough?
\"This is a judgment call with experience.
Here are some guidelines. not carved-in-stone rules -
But you can consider the guidelines.
No, don\'t do this every time.
Guide to keyword inclusion 1)
I try to include the key words (s)
In the title and sub
Go if possible. 2)
Adding key phrases once or twice per paragraph is a good goal.
I never count words or run the percentage of keyword density. 3)
Focus on natural language writing.
Yes, you want to add keywords, but it\'s not that you ruined your copy.
It should sound natural. 4)
Read your copy aloud.
If it sounds stupid or redundant to you, it sounds stupid and redundant to your site visitors. 5)
If it makes sense to do so, I try to include keywords (s)
Text in bold, italicized, bullet list, or other special format.
However, if you don\'t highlight words or phrases in bold or italics to your visitors, don\'t make special exceptions to the engine.
That\'s what I call the brownie point tactics.
The impact will not be great, but every bit helps. Bottom line?
Don\'t sacrifice the quality and conversion power of the copy in order to chase the search engine rabbit.
Finally, it is not worth it.
