The thickness of the bottom plate, the arrangement of bolt holes, and the size of the bolt or screw attachment will all have an impact on the number of units your casters can handle.
The general rule of thumb is that the casters with the largest capacity will have a curved plate and will be connected by bolts.
This means that the plate spreads the weight and strength of the movement in multiple directions to reduce the overall strain.
Choosing the right wheel type has two different types in terms of wheels
Wheel combination type, wheel arrangement type.
Wheel arrangement means whether your casters are single, double or v-groove style.
The wheel composite refers to whether the wheel is made of metal, plastic, polyurethane or rubber.
The heavier the wheel works, the more likely it is to be made of rubber or metal. V-
Groove wheels that combine metal and polyurethane are also considered heavy duty wheelsduty wheels.
Make sure your casters promote stable load handling, just that installing heavy duty casters on your transport unit is not enough to ensure stable load handling.
The first thing you have to look at is whether the transport unit is able to handle the load type.
Don\'t try to upgrade the load capacity of the trolley by adding heavier casters, and don\'t try to use heavier casters to repair the trolley that should be replaced.
Once you are sure that your casters and trolleys match the weight of the load expected for transportation, the stability will increase.
If you still have a problem, you may want to go back and reconsider the wheel type and switch to the dual wheel caster design.
